What is CDS Exam ?
Union Public Service Commission conducts CDS exam . CDS Exam which stands for Combined Defence Services is conducted for admission in various courses such Indian naval academy (INA), Air force academy (AFA), as Indian military academy (IMA), & Officers training academy (OTA). Only approx 400+ seats are available so competition is very tough. So eligible candidates who are preparing for UPSC combined defence service exam (CDS) should have complete awareness of latest CDS exam syllabus and CDS Paper pattern.

- CDS exam will be objective type only.
- It covers three subjects in two papers.
- Each paper will be of 100 marks.

UPSC EXAM PATTERN FOR CDS
UPSC syllabus for CDS includes 3 different papers English, General knowledge and Elementary mathematics. Both papers of CDS will have the time duration of 02 hours and 100 marks.
